From October 30 to November 2, 2006 Moscow will host the International Energy Week “Moscow Energy Dialogue”.

The event will be attended by representatives of federal bodies of authority, energy ministries of foreign countries, OPEC, IEA, IAEA, major companies, public and scientific organizations. 

The main aim of the Dialogue is to discuss and design a mechanism for the implementation of the St. Petersburg “Global energy security” action plan, adopted by G8 leaders in July 2006. Government officials, company heads and experts will discuss concrete steps to implement the action plan.

The “Energy-efficient technologies and equipment” exhibition will operate in the sidelines of the week. 

A press center will operate for mass media.
